1 • How to meaure
Sails must be anchored at all corners. Once you have chosen the anchor points and measured their distance, you only need to follow the indications below to determine the size of the sail.
Minumum distance between the corner of the sail and its anchor point: 35cm
Maximum distance between the corner of the sail and its anchor point: 100cm
2 • Custom made shade sail
If you are looking for a custom-made shade sail, please check our our online configurator
*** Attention: in the configurator you can enter either the actual size of the sail or the distance between the anchor points. In the latter case, the system automatically calculates the correct size for the sail.

3 • Where to anchor a shade sail?
Shade sails can be anchored :
- To the wall by using a wall anchor
- With a mast fixed to a concrete surface at least 15 cm thick.
- With a mast fixed to a concrete plinth 60x60x60 cm
- With a mast fixed to the wall using clamps
- With a mast fixed on the EasyBallast base

4 • Fabric selection
Choosing the most suitable fabric is the first step before ordering a sail. In the following link you will find all the technical and functional characteristics of our shading and waterproofing fabrics.

- Universal cleat
6 • Price and delivery time
Shipping costs and delivery date are always quoted when selecting the product
8 • Shade sail inclination
Sails, especially the waterproof one, must have an inclination in order to guarantee the correct drainage of water and thus avoid the formation of pockets which could deform the sail. The recommended slope is at least 25% of the length of the sloping side

9 • How to tension a shade sail
Saill/Solaria sails are manufactured with an innovative and extremely efficient tensioning system. The perimeter straps are attached to the corner plates by adjustable buckles.
- By releasing the tension on the perimeter strapsthe tension reaches the centre of the sail.
- By increasing the tension on the straps, the centre of the sail receives less tension.
Practical example: the centre of the sail is under tension, the sail is "bulging". In this case, loosen the perimeter straps and relax the corners of the sail. The tension will now be directly in the centre of the sail.

11 • Maintenance
